Meet Liam

Every patch tells him someone is cheering him on.

My name is Liam. I live in Dickson, Tennessee and I have Kleefstra syndrome, a rare genetic condition. I am non-verbal, and I use an AAC device to help speak for me.

I love to learn and continue to amaze everybody with what I learn to do. Every little step is a huge deal for me.

What Liam Loves

Santa, Buc-ee's, fire trucks, police cars, visiting the fire station, and hanging out with firefighters.

Why Patches

Liam collects fire, police, and EMS patches from places his family visits, and he would love to expand the collection.

How to help

Send a department patch or share Liam's story.

Know a firefighter, police officer, EMT, dispatcher, department, or first responder? Ask if they would send Liam a patch and help spread awareness for Kleefstra syndrome.

A bigger wall might be needed soon.

Thank you to everybody who has sent patches and gifts. Liam loves looking at them, remembering where they came from, and seeing the collection grow.
